Children – so honest, so innocent, so free. It is easy to see why Jesus said we should become like little children. I do believe that God loves to hear our most honest thoughts and feelings – just as Joyce did here. I desire to be completely open and honest in my prayers – not just saying what sounds good or what I “ought” to be saying.
Dear God,
Thank you for the baby brother.
But what I prayed for was a new puppy.
